Always Be…

The pain is there,

It never leaves me,

Constantly, Constantly here,

There it will always be.

As I wake many times throughout the night,

I used to have a Deep, Intense fear,

And I do still wake with fright,

Yet it never leaves

It is always here.

I feel it walking faster behind me,

And there I know it will stay,

There it will always, always be

It is always here

It will never go away.

Who deserves this Darkness, Immoral Fate,

Who deserves this pain.

Darker, Deeper it goes

Fear, Frightening, Frustration in vain

Thoughts that plague me day and night

No One knows.

Instantly it strikes-

My friend, my foe,

It never leaves my side,

Inside of me it will always reside.

This took an hour of my life to write,

Yet it will forever be with me

This is no choice I made for myself,

It is just within me it will,

Always and Forever Be…
