Demra Trube's questions for Sheila Rhodes's poem, "People" This
is a very good poem because it makes you think about how we treat each other. I
also liked how there was some rhyme, but not that much. You really donĘt notice
it unless you look for it. I think a lot of rhyming would take away from the
poem. One thing that bothered me was that there were so many question marks but
very few other punctuation marks. I think the main reason that bothered me was
because I can be very picky and a perfectionist. So, tiny things like that
bother me when they're not done. Questions 1. What do you want people to learn from this poem? 2. You only answered two of the questions. Why did you not answer the questions in the poem? 3. Was this poem based on something that happened to you or something else? 4. Why did you use question marks more often than other punctuation marks? 5. What else do you want people to know about this poem?
