31 January 2005. Karen Daniel, questions for Mary Kay Clements's poem "Living with a Hero"
1) This poem is obviously very personal to you.
Is your husband a policeman or some other type of public servant?
2) What sorts of rhymes has Mary used in this
poem?
3) Does anyone have any suggestions for Mary for how
she might make the poem flow smoother, maybe taking out some words that are
unnecessary?
4) I find the link between stanzas 4 and 6 a little bit
confusing. Are you referring both times to the same phone ringing?
