Waltz for Technology

The whirl of machines drowns out the violin.
Clashing of keys, stroking of mice.
Mirror-like screens present treachery
Clashing of keys, stroking of mice. 

Draining power, output/input.
Clawing of keys, beating the mice.
What happened to the pen?
Clawing of keys, beating the mice. 

Giving up the pain of creation.
Smashing of keys, lamenting the mice.
All attempts are futile--technology has triumphed.
