RESEARCH PLAN

 I have decided to do the Research Posts option. I plan to research postcolonial travel writers. I would like to research how travel can cause a person to feel at home or out of place in a similar way that colonization makes natives feel out of place even though they are at home. I personally am interested in travel, and have visited eight countries outside the US. Thus, as I read and study about travel writers who have a postcolonial perspective, I will expand my knowledge of the world and will perhaps see my own travel experiences from new viewpoints.
