“The Days are Numbered”

28 Days Later

While attempting to liberate a group of captive primates, the animal activists inadvertently release a deadly virus. The virus, known as “Rage,” is carried by both blood and saliva. The virus takes over the body’s system in a matter of seconds and transforms the people into zombie like killers.

Twenty-eight days after the virus is released, Jim wakes up from a coma in a deserted hospital. After his first nearly deadly encounter with the infected, Jim learns that London has been evacuated, there is no electricity, no government, and no army. The world he knew before his accident no longer existed. The Virus has spread to Paris and New York and only a handful of uninfected remain. In hopes of a cure, Jim, Selena, Frank and Hannah seek refuge at a broadcasted military brigade. Upon their arrival, they find that things are not always as they seem. The group soon learns there is no cure for the virus and that the remaining soldiers can offer them no hope. After a twisted turn of events, only Jim, Selena and Hannah remain. The group manages to escape from the deadly brigade and relocate to a country side home. After another twenty-eight days, the group is rescued and taken to a recuperating and adapting society.
