Excerpts from the book and summaries from the Web Page, Which World-Global Scenarios.

  • Arc or State of the Future

Apocalyptic – One possible scenario referred to as the Fortress World

Evolutionary – All scenarios are evolutionary in that the outcome is yet to be ascertained.

Alternative – Forking path and multicultural in the sense that we can determine our future. The choices we made today mold and shape our present and our posterity.

  • Dimension of the Future

Near or Deep Future: The actions of the present will shape the near future and, ultimately, the deep future.

Pre- or Post-Apocalyptic: Pre-Apocalyptic.

Alternative Futures: Only in the sense that the future is undecided.
