I would like to request a change to my original proposal. I would like to do a research paper on Uncle Tom's Cabin.  My paper will explore the women of the novel and their heroic aspects of personality and deeds. I will explore Harriet Beecher Stow in regards to the topic of these heroines. It would explore the attitudes of the women of the era also as it pertains to the issues  of the time in the novel.
